"Paper Graphics"

Fishel, C., 2001. Paper Graphics; The Power of Paper in Graphic Design. Gloucester, USA: Rockport Publishers, Inc.
Another book with a good number of interesting paper pieces. In order shown:

A very small piece that comes with a magnifier in order to read it. First thoughts: Alice in Wonderland, Eat Me Drink Me, fairies, tiny creatures. My brother recently bought a small, powerful yet cheap microscope. I wonder how small I could draw with my 0.05 fineliner..? Making tiny books would be rather fun.

A party invitation that turns into a functional mask - paper to function. Illustrations that turn into functional objects?

A game, with pieces, made entirely of paper.

Two holes for vampire bites. It's the simple things...

Embossing - create 3D elements within the illustration. First thoughts - Princess and the Pea. It can also be used just to add texture.

Laced up, for a footwear company. Another simple idea that works really well. Not exactly PAPER engineering, though...

A chest made of paper. Butcher paper for an aged lining/letter, leather-texture paper for outside. I love this! Brilliant for my thought of creating a completely paper pop-up stage within a paper suitcase.
